Two WPHS freshmen compete in Section 1 Ski Championships, Kellen Doherty qualifies for State Championships

After a strong regular season, Freshmen Kellen Doherty and Wyatt Gonzales both earned the opportunity to represent the White Plains Ski Team at the Section 1 Ski Championships, held Tuesday at Hunter Mountain. Both athletes had an outstanding day of competition among a very strong field.
After Tuesday's exciting (and long!) day of racing, Kellen is one of 11 boys who qualified to race at the NYSPHSAA State Championships on Monday, February 23 and Tuesday, February 24 at Bristol Mountain.
